Well its about time I updated my blog. For those that couldn't attend the recent Revit Technology Conference I thought I would post links to my powerpoints should you wish to check them out.
This is the talk I did about Families.
Generally it investigates how to setup standards in your office in order to maintain control of your library and develop consistency as well as maximum functionality.
Unfortunately our webserver no longer allows me to post these large files. Please use this link to PDF.
It then looks at some of the basics of family creation of which I then did some live demo's. If enough people post interest, I'll upload a video screen capture of this... :-)

I would love to see video of the presentation if you have it - Thanks.

Okay, well I'm flat out this week. I'll try to piece it together next week. I have to go purchase a microphone so I can commentary the video...
would it be possible for you to post the examples you did as part of the presentation also
Just to let everyone know, I haven't forgotten about this. Just running a little short staffed at the moment so haven't had the free time as yet.
You material is awesome!!!!!
Thanks for sharing.
I caught your presentation at the Melbourne Revit conference last year, and was impressed. Unfortunately i could not make it to Sydney this year, but would be interested in taking a look at your video capture.
By the way, by the response above, I think there is enough interest to warrant the video upload.

Hi Peter,
I've been preparing for a training course I'm running in Cairns next week as well as having two major deadlines for today so haven't had a chance as yet. I have another two deadlines next Friday. After that I should have a clear run to do a screen recording and commentating it. Still need to pick up a microphone from somewhere...
Give yourself a reminder to nag me again then!!
Sorry for my slackness.
Just a nag for the presentation video.
